It depends on the bike, but under normal conditions, on flat and paved terrain, and on a medium power setting, the average rider can expect to travel 20-30 miles on a full charge, without much pedaling. With pedaling, and using the power as an assist, the rider can achieve 30 to 50 miles (model and rider dependent). Activities that utilize the battery more, like riding uphill, will limit your distance.

Your use of the throttle effects how quickly the battery will drain. Extra battery power will be consumed during frequent braking and starting, riding uphill, riding against strong winds, starting from a standstill and using only the throttle, riding on rough or muddy roads and trails, and while carrying or pulling heavy loads.

A lithium ion e-bike battery that is fully depleted will take around 4-6 hours to recharge.

Yes, seats are easily swapped onto the seat post. There are even seat posts with springs, that provide a cushioning effect.

Most e-bikes are designed for use by persons 16 years old and above. You are assuming risks if you let someone younger than 16 years old ride the bicycle. Check the local and state laws regarding age limitations on public roads, streets and paths.

We recommend one rider (the operator) and no passengers, unless the bike model is specifically designed to carry more than one person.
